These photos were taken by me in Jaywick, England, which is the UKs “most deprived place”. On reflection, I fear these photos fail to convey the reality of life in Jaywick in a respectful and responsible way. They are a reminder of the importance of being mindful of the power of images, and the need to tell stories with sensitivity, not sensationalism.
